Very much in the Californian style of Merlot it offers deep, plummy flavours smooth tannins and a touch of oak which holds it together elegantly. In the best tradition the wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve all the character of the fruit.

Owned by English couple Susan and Peter Close, Château Camplazens uses only the finest Syrah grapes from their vineyards to produce this wine. Medium bodied and fragrant, showing notes of smoky plum, orange peel and herbs, the refreshing aftertaste is in the style of wines from the northern Rhône.

A classic Rutherglen Muscat made using the solera system whereby younger wines are gradually blended with older wines to guarantee freshness, consistency and complexity of flavour.
